Review and edit generated chapters

Review for source fidelity first

• Check whether the chapter preserves the claims and nuance of your source material.
• Remove generic advice that could have appeared in any book on the topic.
• Verify numbers, names, dates, and attributed claims.
• Look for repeated examples across chapters.
• Make sure the chapter advances the reader instead of restating the introduction.

Then edit for voice

Once the substance is right, edit rhythm, terminology, and examples so the manuscript sounds consistent. If you have transcripts in the source set, compare the draft against the way the author actually explains the subject.

Use the review controls according to the size of the change

• Approve marks the content approved.
• Quick Improve runs one of four targeted transformations: Concise, Engaging, Actionable, or Examples.
• Regenerate with Feedback sends your written instruction through the regeneration path.
• Reject & Regenerate stores the rejection reason and then regenerates using that reason as feedback.
• Direct title/body editing is available when the effective project tier enables content editing.

The review screen keeps provenance and history

For chapters, the review page can show the source records used for that content. It also keeps version history across initial generation, full regeneration, feedback regeneration, quick improvements, manual edits, and restores.

Version history can show a diff against the current version and restore an earlier version. Restoring an outline is treated specially because changing the outline can invalidate existing chapters.
